Hillary salutes services and sacrifices of police.

ISLAMABAD, October 30, 2009 (Balochistan Times ): US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has lauded the services and sacrifices rendered by police and said that terrorists are enemies of Pakistan and its people. She expressed these views while talking to media on the occasion of her visit to Police Line along with Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik and US Ambassador in Pakistan, Anne W. Peterson here on Friday evening. US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton said that terrorists are the enemy of Pakistan and its people added that terrorists have no soft corner for even women and children. She said that these terrorists are also against the women empowerment, education and development of the area. She said that both Pakistan and US would continue to jointly work for the complete elimination of terrorism. She also highly appreciated the efforts of the Interior Minister in combating terrorism. Earlier, Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, Secretary Interior, Qamar Zaman, IG Islamabad, SSP Headquarter, Zubair Hashmi and other high officials welcomed the respected guest Hillary Clinton her arrival at Police Line on Friday evening. She was also presented guard of honour on his arrival at Police line. Hillary Clinton along with US Ambassador in Pakistan Anne W. Peterson also visited the She also visited mausoleum of martyrdom and placed floral wreath. Similarly, Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik thanked US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US Ambassador in Pakistan; Anne W. Peterson for showing solidarity for those who martyred in war against terrorism. Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said that Pakistan is passing through very critical time. He said those planes, which are used for the identification of terrorists and explosive material, will reach Pakistan in next 15 days. Rehman Malik said that government has no other option accept to fight against terrorists, he said that terrorists should be defeated at all cost. He added that entire nation stand united in war against terrorism. He also appreciated the role of Pakistan army for assisting Islamabad Police in different projects and training as well.
