Highland hotel changes ownership.

A LOCHSIDE Highland hotel with two acres of private grounds and an AA three-star rating and two Red Rosettes for cuisine has changed hands for close to its asking price of offers over PS795,000.

Colliers International sold the Four Seasons Hotel in St Fillans, Perthshire, for Andrew Low, who is retiring after running the hotel since 1999. It is believed to be the only time in more than 30 years that it has been placed on the open market.

The buyer, hotelier Susan Stuart, is returning to Scotland from London to run her first hotel as an owner. The hotel has 12 letting bedrooms, six detached chalets. a five-room owner's flat, a self-catering flat for letting, a staff flat and staff block, restaurant, bar and lounge.
