High value lots come to the fore at Allsop's July commercial auction; ADVERTISING FEATURE.
Allsop's fourth commercial property auction of 2017 will feature 185 lots across the country, with almost 30 lots offered at PS1m and above.
High value assets set to go under the hammer in the auction room on July 10th at Claridge's, Mayfair, are in demand among investors looking for high quality and wellperforming assets amidst political uncertainty.
Among early investor interest is lot 106, an attractive freehold shop in the heart of Kendal town centre. Currently let to WHSMITH plc, this town centre investment provides a rent of PS69,900 pa. Anticipated to be a popular lot in the auction room, it is priced at PS950,000+.
July's auction catalogue also features an extensive range of assets with a total income of PS8.7m per annum, including sixteen office, eight industrial and nine bank investments.
Outside of the North West, lots such as a portfolio of 19 high street assets, all currently let to retailer New Look, are anticipated to be in demand at the auction room. Lot 170 in Monmouth, already the most popular of the 19, enjoys rent of PS29,100 pa, a town centre location opposite Marks & Spencer Simply Food and is guided at PS230,000 - PS250,000.
George Walker, Partner and Auctioneer, said: "Buyers have a choice of 29 lots offered at PS1m or more, which plays into the depth of demand that we have found in the auction room this year, despite the ongoing political and economic uncertainty.
"Lots in the North West of the country that offer a good long-term income, such as the WHSMITH in Kendal, and are situated in a prime location are likely to be popular in July's auction room."
The auction will take place on July 10th at Claridge's, 49 Brook Street, London, W1K 4HR from 10am.
