High fives for Wallis.

By Jonathan Kay Wallis is particularly sweet on Cloudbursting, one of Sunday's winners having set a 260m track record the week before.

TRACK record wins for Billys Bullet and Vanrooney over Towcester's six-bend distances on Sunday, part of a Mark Wallis five-timer, now means that the champion trainer is now responsible for four of the five clocks at the new venue.

"He looks a top-class sprinter and is very exciting," said Wallis, "along with the others he will form the backbone of our Trainers' Championship team at Sittingbourne next month, and we're looking forward to competing."

"It's early days of course but things have been going well," said Wallis yesterday, "the five who won on Sunday are probably the best five greyhounds in the kennel and it's great to be able to race them at a track as good as Towcester whilst waiting for competitions to come round."

TOWCESTER track records:- 260m: Cloudbursting 15.00sec (1/2/15) 480m: Domino Storm 27.84sec (1/2/15) 655m: Billys Bullet 38.90sec (8/2/15) 686m: Vanrooney 40.97sec (8/2/15) 906m: Supreme Rossie 56.75sec (13/12/14)
