Hide & seek girl run over by mother; INQUEST.

A GIRL of four died after she was run over by her mother while playing hide and seek on a driveway, an inquest heard yesterday.

Olivia Hicks was crouching behind mum Kelly's car as she reversed after dropping off the youngster at her grandma's in February.

She was trapped beneath the Ford Focus for nearly an hour as firefighters battled to free her.

Olivia, of Biggleswade, Beds, was rushed by air ambulance to hospital but died five days later of irreversible brain injuries.

Kelly, 35, and Olivia's dad Graham said in a statement at the hearing in Bedford: "Olivia was a cheeky, chatty and clever little girl. We miss her every day."

Coroner David Morris recorded a narrative verdict.
