Hidden iPhone 6 Killer Specs & Features Exposed as Analysts Forecast 60M+ Buys by Dec 2014.

Even before its scheduled September 19 release date, the iPhone 6 has already presold some four million units, prompting market watchers to upgrade Apple's projected haul in the final quarter of 2014.

62 million iPhone 6 in 2014

Thanks to the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, the tech giant will easily clear more than 62 million units at the end of December 2014, (http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/09/15/blockbuster-start-for-iphone-6-suggests-apple-on-track-to-sell-60m-phones-in-december-quarter) Apple Insider said in a new report. In closing this year's holiday quarter, between 59 and 62 million new iPhones will either be shipped out or label as sold, added the report.

The figures are relatively lower to that of Morgan Stanley's recent projection for the refreshed iPhones. According to the investment firm, Apple could push out around 80 million new iPhone models in the last three months of 2014.

Or more than 100 million units, if the repackaged iPhone 5S and 5C will be counted in, DigiTimes had earlier suggested in a report. True to one of the predictions issued by Ming-chi Kuo of KGI Securities, the 2013 iPhone editions will be sold along with fresh variants. They will serve as the budget option for the current iPhone line up, Apple said.

Hidden specs and features

In unveiling the iPhone 6 on Sept 9, Apple underscored the device's upgraded capabilities from the iPhone 6. The former's 64-bit A8 processing chip boasts of 25 per cent more power from the 5S and on the graphic side, the boost is estimated at 50 per cent.

This is largely due to the 6-core PowerVR graphic engine that according to (http://www.anandtech.com/show/8514/analyzing-apples-a8-soc-gx6650-more) AnandTech is integrated with the A8 SoC. The GPU packs a top-speed of 1.4GHz plus 1GB of RAM, which AnandTech said translate to 84x faster graphic processing performance.

Enhanced FaceTime video call

Another key improvement recently discovered in the iPhone 6 is the use of H.265 technology that (http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/09/12/apples-iphone-6-iphone-6-plus-use-h265-codec-for-facetime-over-cellular) a separate Apple Insider report said will lead to superb FaceTime video call experience over cellular network.

With the H.265 codec in place, FaceTime video cellular calls on the new iPhones are sure to be of top quality with less broadband bandwidth requirement. According to Apple Insider, the technology is deployed with the two models.

Meanwhile, it looks like that everything is set for the September 19 iPhone 6 release date as (http://www.macrumors.com/2014/09/15/iphone-deliveries-from-china/) MacRumors published photos that showed "massive loads" of the iOS 8-powered smartphone are entering the U.S,, somehow ensuring that sufficient supplies are available for everyone to grab a piece beginning Friday this week.
