Hertz Lecture at Iowa State.

Jim Tobin (center), VP/Industry Affairs at Monsanto presented the 2013 Carl and Marjory Hertz Lecture on Emerging Issues in Agriculture at Iowa State University.

Tobin's presentation was titled "Agricultural Technology: Reflections on the Journey, Perspectives on the Future."

Tobin is a member of the Board of the U.S. Grains Council and a member of the Farm Foundation Roundtable. He has served on the National 4-H Council, the Missouri 4-H Foundation and is Past Chmn of the American Seed Trade Association.

The Hertz Lecture was created in memory of the founders of Hertz Farm Management to inspire generations of industry leaders, research scientists and young professionals to reach their full potential.
