Hertz Corp. appoints C&W for outsourcing assignment.

The Hertz Corporation, a major car central company, has selected the international real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield to manage several administrative functions on an outsourcing basis.

Cushman & Wakefield, based in New York City, will provide mail room and distribution functions, shipping and receiving, reprographics, micrographics/indexing, and outgoing mail production and processing service for Hertz, which is headquartered in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

Cshman & Wakefield will serve 2,000 Hertz employees in four buildings encompassing 400,000 square feet in Oklahoma City.

With the Hertz contract, Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its list of services, said William J. Toohey, director, management services of Cushman & Wakefield.
