Heroes keep us safe; RECORD READERS.

YOUR coverage of the 10th anniversary of the failed Glasgow airport terror attack has been bittersweet.

It has been great to hear insights from those involved that day simply "doing their jobs" but who we would call heroes.

However, given the spate of atrocities that have taken place around the UK - London and Manchester - it would be remiss of us to think we're safe from any future attacks.

But knowing we have people like bomb disposal expert Stevie Jack on hand to keep us safe is a good start.
