Hero cop charged.
Pc Ian Fielding, named bravest officer in the country in 2003, faces six motoring offences.
The Kidderminster-born father-of-two was praised by Tony Blair for rugby-tackling a gunman after a high speed chase in Worcester in 2000. But married Pc Fielding (43) is accused of sparking a police chase. He faces two counts of drink driving, one of driving without due care and attention, failing to report an accident, taking a vehicle without consent and failing to stop for police.
