Arsene Wenger hopes Danny Welbeck will be more "relaxed in front of goal" after netting a double to see off winless Bournemouth.
The Gunners forward headed in the sixth-minute opener before record signing Alexandre Lacazette doubled their lead.
Welbeck than added a third just after half-time to return Arsenal to winning ways after defeats by Stoke and Liverpool.
Wenger said: "People are not convinced he is a great finisher but this will help him become more relaxed in front of goal."
Brighton boss Chris Hughton believes his men can go on a winning run in the Premier League after recording their first topflight victory for 34 years. Pascal Gross got the opener before completing his double after the break.
Tomer Hemed made it three when he headed in an inch-perfect cross from the German on 63 minutes. West Brom managed a consolation goal from sub James Morrison.
Brighton boss Hughton said: "We feel a lot better after our first win but we need to take it forward."
Mauricio Pochettino hailed Harry Kane as his double at Everton saw the Spurs star join the 100 club.
The forward scored either side of Christian Eriksen's goal second to notch up a century of goals for his club.

Mauricio Pellegrino has vowed to get to the root of Southampton's struggles after goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and sub Daryl Janmaat saw his men lose 2-0 to Watford.
