Herman Robert Amberg.

Herman Robert Amberg died May 17. Amberg joined Crown Zellerbach in 1956 and was named Director of the Environmental Services Division in 1971. He was known for his research on air and water pollution control. Amberg joined TAPPI in 1952 and was named a TAPPI Fellow in 1985. He served on numerous technical advisory committees and published more than 50 articles in technical journals in the subject areas of air, water and stream pollution. Contributions in his name should be made to Hospice of South West Washington.
