Here's a selection of responses to articles on the Remember When blog...

Corpus Christi Susan Knight wrote: I remember going to a Corpus Christi Procession with my Auntie Mary. I remember standing near the bridge on Albert Road waiting for the procession to pass. I must have only been about six or seven so the year will of been 1970 or 1971. I remember vividly all the girls in their lovely white dresses. Looking at these great photos has brought back some really nice memories.

Ann Longstaff wrote: What a feast of beautiful memories flooded back when I read your blog. Was life ever as simple as that, I know that the Corpus Christi procession was a major highlight in the Catholic calendar and our lives.

Bath time, past times Hot water wrote: What about when you had to make sure the fire was blazed up making sure that there was enough hot water to have a bath, so we used to have a roaring fire in the middle of summer. Our fire used to heat all the hot water, in the late fifties we had an immersion heater fitted; what luxury, instant hot water. We didn''t live out in the wilds just a little village outside of Middlesbrough.
