Henson heads for television stardom.

WELSH rugby's missing idol Gavin Henson landed on Britain's prime-time light entertainment television screens on Saturday, with PR experts predicting a smash hit.

The tanned sports star appeared on both ITV's 71 Degrees North and the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly fans heard him confess he would struggle to control himself around the bevy of beautiful female dancers, including partner Katya Virshilas.

He said: "All those dancers are beautiful and when they are looking in your face and touching you and stuff, it's blowing my mind.

"I don't know how I'm going to cope."

PR guru Max Clifford said Henson could build a massive fan base: "It's all ifs, buts and maybes but if he does really well, not just in terms of dancing on Strictly, but also in terms of personality, it will give him a massive shop window.

"He's a sports star and a good-looking guy and he seems to have a good personality - there's a shy side to him as well and the public really love that."
