Henry Ford Hospital.
A U.S. State Department delegation from the Near East and North Africa recently visited Henry Ford Hospital to explore breast cancer awareness and community outreach. The visit included a conversation with S. David Nathanson, M.D., director of breast care services at Henry Ford Health System (pictured in the back row, fourth from left) who spoke with the delegation about research that went into a book he recently authored about breast cancer survivors called Ordinary Miracles. The high level delegation, which included four interpreters and two officers from Washington D.C.. has also met with the First Lady and the founder of the Susan G. Komen foundation as part of their travels.
