Henry: We can't afford to relax.

MIDFIELDER Karl Henry says Wolves' fine start to the season counts for little and avoiding the drop is still the aim.

This is their best start to a top-flight campaign since 1977/78, when they also won two and drew one of their opening games.

"Wins are few and far between so to get a couple already at this stage is massive for us," he said.

Henry says boss Mick McCarthy won't allow the players to relax.

"He never lets us get carried away. He keeps our feet firmly on the ground, which I think is important because in this league especially there's no point in getting carried away."

Henry says Manchester United's eight-goal thrashing of Arsenal should serve as a warning to all clubs.

"As we've seen over the last few days with results, you are only ever a couple of games away from getting a good hiding,'' he added.

''I think it shows any team in the league is capable of being beaten in that way. It certainly keeps our feet on the ground and we are not getting carried away with anything."

But Henry says Wolves have improved.

"We are definitely a better side. Looking at the results of the teams who came up in the first week, Swansea and QPR had four goals put past them.

"That's happened to us on many an occasion in this league over the last couple of years.

"We've learned to deal with it and we know that that happens in this league. You've just got to bounce back and push on.

''The experience we've gained over the last couple of years will really go on to serve us well. We've added a couple of quality players to our squad as well."
