Hendrickson Hits Paydirt.
Angler Donna Hendrickson won one title and took home second place in a team event to top the Paralyzed Veterans of America Bass Tour's Land of Lincoln tournament Oct. 5-7 at Rend Lake in Mount Vernon, Ill.
Hendrickson won the individual bank competition. She totaled 5.38 pounds, defeating Kevin Teeman (Fort Smith, Ark.) by 1.79 pounds and finished second in the team bank competition.
Angler Gary Holland (Oklahoma City) and boat partner Terry Bowers (Rochelle, Ill.) took the team bank title. They finished with 9.22 pounds, defeating Hendrickson (Garland, Texas) and boat partner Steven Ray (Mesquite, Texas) by 1.25 pounds.
Bowers earned the Lunker Award with his 3.92-pound catch.
Angler Jeff Thompson (Camby, Ind.) and boat partner Jacob Boldrey (Woodlawn, Ill.) took the open team competition. They caught three fish totaling 5.62 pounds to defeat angler Jason Swanson (Plano, Texas) and boat partner Christine Williams (Tolono, Ill.) by .78 pounds.
Angler Dale Lunsford (Morehead, Ky.) won the Lunker Award with his 3.49-pound catch.
Angler Charlie Johnson (Elmhurst, Ill.) and boat partner Brad Schoenrock (Opdyke, Ill.) captured the team competition title, catching five fish totaling 11. 08 pounds. They defeated Ted Liefer (Whittington, Ill.) and Bill Newbury (Opdyke, Ill.) by 2.16 pounds.
Angler Cleveland Short (Brandon, Miss.) earned the Lunker Award with his 3.85-pound catch.
