Helping town to bloom.

MORE volunteers are needed to help prepare Kenilworth for this year's Britain in Bloom competition.

The Kenilworth in Bloom committee is asking people to help make a show of the town for the Heart of England regional round.

Chairman Dave Shilton said: "We are a very small group of people who raise money to pay for the floral tubs and baskets that brighten up our town year-round.

"We do this mainly by seeking sponsorship from local businesses and through our annual plant sale.

"We also undertake hands-on work such as dead-heading and tidying up the tubs whenever possible."

To find out more about helping the committee, phone Mr Shilton on 01926 864873.
