Help to clean up beach.

WHY not blow away the cobwebs and get some much-needed fresh air on Redcar beach - and clean it up while you're there? And you never know what you might nd!

Marks & Spencer is looking for volunteers to help pick up litter as part of the retailer's 4th annual Big Beach Clean Up.

Taking place on Sunday, May 10, from 10.30am, the event will be hosted in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS).

Terri-Anne Rigg, store manager at M&S Middlesbrough, said: "A fantastic e[euro]ort was made last year with around 250km of coastline and canals cleared which resulted in 4,000 bin bags of litter collected across the country." e Big Beach Clean Up will see events take place at 135 beaches and canals up and down the country between May 7 and 13.
