Help at hand.
A team of volunteers from Marie Curie Cancer Care wrapped up thousands of presents for delighted shoppers who donated towards the charity. More than pounds 4,170 were raised at the MetroCentre and now 208 hours of care can be provided to those who need it.
Barbara Cranston from Marie Curie said: "I'd like to thank everyone who brought their Christmas presents to be wrapped at the Marie Curie Cancer Care wrapping stand. As a result of their generosity and the magnificent support of MetroCentre, a fantastic amount was raised. "It is solely volunteers and a huge thank you goes to them too."
