Hedgehog gets itself into a prickle.
Owners of a house in Townsend Avenue tried with no luck to rescue the creature and so the RSPCA were called out to assist.
A spokeswoman from the charity said: "RSPCA rescue operations come in all shapes and sizes and one of our officers in North Wales recently helped a hedgehog to freedom.
"The juvenile hedgehog was found in the drain of a garden in Townsend Avenue.
"Despite the best efforts of the householder the prickly creature wouldn't budge but RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas came to the rescue.
"The lucky hedgehog was unharmed by his ordeal and returned to the wild."
RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas said: "Thankfully this was a straightforward rescue and probably my smallest."
Kia was helped by residents Aled and Carys Gell . ? To help the RSPCA with rescue missions, donations of PS3 can be made by texting HELP to 78866.
