Heavy storm rips off roof, topples trees in northern Turkey.

ZONGULDAK (CyHAN)- A heavy storm which hit the northern province of Zonguldak ripped off some roofs, toppled electric poles and trees on Tuesday evening.

Rain which had been continuous for the last two days turned into storm in the evening. Traffic was paralyzed as the trees fell onto roads and power cuts took place in some neighborhoods as electric poles were knocked down by the strong winds.

No one was killed or injured in the incident. Fire brigade worked to remove trees and electric poles in the city.
