Heavy security measures to protect the sit-in squares in Anbar.

Ramadi (NINA) - Police in Anbar province are taking heavy security measures to protect the sit-in squares and their surrounding areas.

Security source told NINA on Friday, Sep. 6, that the goal for such measures is to protect worshipers and protestors from any attempt by outlaws from infiltrate the squares and instigate troubles or fight with the protestors and worshipers.

He added that the measures include deploying police forces near the squares and increase in the checkpoints around them, as well as monitoring roads leading to them.

Meanwhile, thousands of worshipers are arriving in the sit-in squares in Ramadi and Falluja from surrounding areas to perform joint Friday Prayer. / End.
