Heartfelt appeal by foundation for help.

THE British Heart Foundation is calling for more volunteers in Cardiff to help in the fight against heart disease.

Glenda Meakin, fundraising and volunteer manager for Cardiff, said: "If you're looking to do something different in the sunny days and lighter evenings, please get in touch.

"Without the hard work, commitment and loyalty of our volunteers, we would not be able to raise the vital funds needed to fight the nation's number one killer."

For more information, call Glenda on 029 2089 0148.
