Heaps of garbage, lack of sanitation system perturbs locals.

GUJAR KHAN, October 18, 2011 (Frontier Star): Residents of Ward No-6 of Gujar Khan are facing enormous problems due to unavailability of proper sanitation and sewerage system, stagnant water and heaps of garbage emitting stinking smell. As per details, sewerage pipe lines worth of millions were installed in the areas which are still lying openly in streets. Ward No-6 and 11 of Gujar Khan is lacking for proper sanitation and sewerage system while sweepers of the area do not come to duty. Due to lack of sanitation and sewerage system heaps of garbage are laying here and there, as a result mosquitoes and flies are growing in the area posing serious threat of malaria and other viral diseases. Due to lack of sanitation and sewerage system and heaps of garbage emitting stinking smell which perturbs the locals, therefore, they have demanded to the Chief Minister Punjab and other concerned authorities for solving their problems.
