Healthful recipe contest.

It's summertime! Now that the school's out, you have time to make and eat anything you want. While you're in the kitchen, cook up something for us! If you can come with a tasty and healthful dish, you just might win fame and fortune for your culinary courage. A photo of the winner and a copy of his or her recipe will be featured in the magazine. Creators of the top three recipes will receive certificates So OK, you won't really win a fortune, but fame is cool.

Anyone age twelve or under can send a recipe to the Healthful Recipe Contest. The winner will be chosen from entries from all of the Children's Better Health Institute magazines for kids.

RELATED ARTICLE: HERE'S HOW TO ENTER:

1. SEND US A RECIPE THAT YOU CAN MADE ALL BY YOURSELF--NO FANCY RECIPE FROM A COOK BOOK.

2. TO BE GOOD FOR YOUR BODY, THE RECIPE SHOULD BE HIGH-FIBER AND HAVE NO (OR VERY LITTLE) FAT, SUGAR, OR SODIUM. ALSO, NO DESSERT RECIPES AND NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS.

3. TEST YOUR CONCOCTION ON REAL PEOPLE AND MAKE CHANGES, IF NECESSARY.

4. PRINT THE RECIPE IN THE DARK INK ON WHITE PAPER. INCLUDE: YOUR SCHOOL PHOTO, NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, AGE, AND PARENT'S SIGNATURE.

5. ENTRIES SHOULD BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31, 1997.
