Health minister checks on scanners at Queen Alia Airport.

Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra)-- Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, on Tuesday checked on thermal scanners at the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) as part of the ministry's measures against the Coronavirus epidemic. Jaber said thermal scanners installed by the Ministry on land, air and sea border crossings, a total of seven fixed and manual scanners, are now operating. Two thermal scanners were installed at the QAIA and are operational around the clock with specialized medical teams to ensure the safety and health of visitors coming to the Kingdom from various countries, raise the level of performance, and reveal any suspected cases in order to take the necessary measures as per the World Health Organization's global protocol in this regard and at all border locations. //Petra// AF 28/01/2020 14:29:48
