Health changes survey.

NHS patients are being asked their views on a range of community services.

An online survey has been launched to gather opinions on different choices for care.

The initiative is part of the Government's commitment to allow patients to be able to choose from a list of qualified providers.

Director of Commissioning and Service Development for NHS Kirklees, Ann Ballarini, said: "This will get under way next year, starting with a limited number of services. It's all about improving access and quality where patients have found their experiences of a service varies considerably.

"We need to make sure that we prioritise the services that local clinicians, healthcare professionals, commissioners and patients tell us they would benefit the most from having a wider selection of providers."

The survey is running until October 7. See the website www.kirklees.nhs.uk and click on the Any Qualified Provider Survey link.
