Karl Storz presents the [HEADCAM.sup.TM], which combines a headlight with a video documentation system. A monitor displays the surgeon's operating field in real time exactly as he or she sees it. Procedures previously seen only by the surgeon become available to a wider audience, making the HEADCAM ideal for training courses, lecture presentations, and improved operating team efficiency.

Featuring a high-resolution CCD camera and a cold light illumination source, the HEADGAM provides optimal harmonization between the illumination and video units, ensuring a bright, clear image. The special low-vibration design of the headlight reduces motion artifacts and conveys a steady monitor image, and the wide focal range extends from 15 cm to infinity, making the HEADCAM suitable for all surgical specialties.

The HEADCAM comes complete with a headlight, CCD camera, 3 mm x 300 cm fiberoptic light cable, and an easily adjustable headband. Fully compatible with all Karl Storz TELECAM imaging systems, camera control units, and light sources, the HEADGAM is a cost-effective addition to today's video documentation systems.
