WHERE IS IT? The country boasts a rich cultural heritage, as one of south-east Asia's most vibrant economies lying between two regions in the South China Sea. The peninsula shares land borders with Thailand and Singapore, and is home to a tropical rainforest that's more than 130 million years old. There's unsung islands neighbouring the gulf of Thailand on the east coast.

VISIT Wildlife watching, cave exploration, and river rafting are the main activities. For the cultural side, the Kek Lok Si Temple is a treasure of Penang. The capital Kuala Lumpa offers the Batu Caves, or visit the observation deck of the Petronas Twin towers said to be the tallest in the world. For those seeking adventure the Sipadan island has a world class diving experience.
