Hayes Lemmerz's Foundries Win Automaker Honors.

Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc., Northville, Michigan, received recognition for its aluminum wheel operations in Ostrava, Czech Republic and in Dello, Italy.

The Czech Republic foundry achieved Ford Motor Co.'s QI Award. The award is presented to suppliers who have sustained a level of excellence in customer satisfaction by meeting requirements for quality, delivery, materials management and engineering.

The Italian foundry received the 2000 Achievement in Quality Award from Toyota, U.K. The award was for contributions to product quality and program management.
