Hay named to head Poly-Bond.

Alec Hay has been appointed president of Poly-Bond, Charlotte, NC, following the recent departure of former president Anthony Centofanti, who left to take over as head of National Felt last month. Mr. Hay, who resumed the position on June 1, was formerly vice president, manufacturing and technology at Dominion Textile, Poly-Bond's parent company based in Montreal, Canada. He has been with the company for 27 years.

Mr. Hay was enthusiastic about the move. "The nonwoven sector is considered a key growth area in Dominion's plans and we have committed significant capital to the development of Poly-Bond and also the Nordlys group..." he said. Mr. Hay will relocate to Charlotte.

Dominion Textile is currently the 19th largest nonwoven roll goods producer in the world.
