Hawarden High: Football and street dance teams win competitions; EDUCATION TODAYin association with.

| Year 12 Sociology students at Hawarden High school were delighted when Councillor Mrs. Joyce Angell, Chair of Governors and Mr. Roger Davies, Headteacher (pictured above) accepted their invitation to attend a question and answer session on contemporary education.

The meeting was very ably chaired by Chris Hesketh-Baxter and the vote of thanks was proposed by Aled Davies. | Hawarden High school gained huge success once again at this years Festival of Youth Sport run by Flintshire''s Sports Development in conjunction with Airbus and Sport Wales. The Girls Football Team and Street Dance Team (pictured below) beat stiff competition to win the group competitions against other local secondary schools.
