Hawaii a bostin' night out; WEDNESBURY.
A PUB boss is to be gunged for charity at a Hawaiian party to
celebrate her five years behind the bar.
Bonnie Wilkes, a Mitchells & Butlers manager at The Myvod, Park Lane, Wednesbury, since 2001, is inviting customers to help her mark the occasion on Saturday with a party starting at 8.30pm.
Bonnie will be gunged to raise money for equipment at the nearby Portland House day centre. Other activities will include a fancy dress competition, summer music and snacks.
"We've chosen a Hawaiian theme so people can cling on to the last bit of the summer and feel like they're still on holiday," said Bonnie.
