Have your say on sign language plan.
A draft Shared British Sign Language Plan for Lanarkshire is now open for consultation.
The BSL National Plan 2017-2023 was published last year, and it has ten long-term goals which were co-produced with BSL users across Scotland.
And the Lanarkshire plan reflects these same long-term goals and sets out the actions North and South Lanarkshire councils and NHS Lanarkshire will take from 2018 to 2024.
It details the collective intentions on how the multi-agency partners will improve communication and access to services for people who use BSL in Lanarkshire, and promote the use of and understanding of BSL.
The draft plan and consultation questions have been published in BSL and English and both versions can be accessed online at tinyurl.com/yctxwmwk The consultation will close on Friday, July 13.
