Have a healthy half-term with Liverpool discovers.

PUBLIC art event Liverpool Discovers is a chance for families to get out and about to enjoy some free and life-enhancing fun.

And with the event opening on half-term week, there's no better time to hit the trail!

Liverpool Primary Care Trust (PCT) is supporting Liverpool Discovers as part of 2020 Decade of Health and Wellbeing, highlighting how to build the 5 Ways to Wellbeing into your daily life.

Liverpool Discovers is a pioneering public art event celebrating Liverpool's many firsts, greats and lesser-known facts as part of a fun trail of 13 unique art installations, by acclaimed artists like David Kemp, Joe Rush, Andy Plant, Carrie Reichardt and Nick Reynolds.

Trail highlights include a giant telescope dedicated to astrophysics genius Jeremiah Horrocks, a fantastical time machine and the world's first musical street lamps.

Gideon Ben-Tovim, Chair of Liverpool PCT, says: "Getting out and about and enjoying the world around you is a great example of how to build some wellbeing-enhancing activity into your life."
