Harvard Scientific obtains patent covering PGE-1 lyophilized liposomes

Harvard Scientific Corporation (Reno, NV; 714-252-1942) announced that on Thursday, August 14, 1997, the United States Patent and Trademark Office notified the company's patent counsel, that it has allowed all claims of its patent application entitled PGE-1 Lyophilized Liposomes for use in the treatment of ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION for issuance.

Additionally, Harvard Scientific's delivery system continues to impress industry professionals. Joseph Williams MD, Board Certified Urologist states, "Harvard Scientific's proprietary delivery system is painless, and thus has an opportunity to revolutionize the future treatment of male erectile dysfunction."

Harvard Scientific is a biopharmaceutical company that is developing products relating the lyophilized liposomal delivery of Prostaglandin E-1 for treating male erectile dysfunction and impotency. The company has completely its Phase I clinical trials and is moving ahead to complete Phase II/III.
