Hartley's high-efficiency Green Sand Cooler eliminates hot sand problems.

Hartley Controls developed the high-efficiency cooling system that operates independent of foundry shakeout. The Cooler instantly and automatically adapts to sudden changes in return sand temperature and moisture.

By constantly adjusting to these variables, the Hartley Cooler delivers return sand to the muller with a predetermined temperature and moisture level. The Cooler is controlled with PLC accuracy and can provide real-time monitoring and detailed printouts.

The Cooler produces a brisk rotary action that premulls and homogenizes the return sand as it cools. This action minimizes the primary muller performance. The Cooler fits into new or existing foundry sand systems in units form 15-250 tons per hour.

Hartley Control's capabilities include complete mechanical and electrical engineering and fabrication of green sand systems and controls.
