Name: Harold (Harry) Smith. Date and place of birth: Harry was born at 2.56am on August 20 at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Weight: 8lb 10oz.
Parents: Mum, Catherine Smith, 30, a librarian, and dad, Neil Smith, 31, a security officer. The family live in Roath, Cardiff.
Mum's story: Catherine said: "I was really happy that I didn't suffer from any morning sickness, although I did have a craving for anything butterscotch, especially the Angel Delight flavour variety.
"We found out that we were expecting a boy at the 20-week scan.
"We really didn't mind if the child was a boy or a girl as long as they were healthy.
"Harry's name is obviously from our favourite set of books and films - Harry Potter.
"If Harry was going to be a girl, we would have named her Hermione.
"The labour was over pretty quick in that from the moment my contractions started to Harry's appearance took just over five hours.
"Holding my baby boy in my arms for the very first time was overwhelming.
"We had the exact same feeling when Neil and I took Harry home for the very first time together.
"There is no better feeling in the world, no matter what is going on in our life, it only takes a quick hug or cwtch from Harry to make everything in the world better!" Harold (Harry) Smith
