Harmon Meadow sorts out Linens 'n Things deal.

Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc. has announced that Linens 'n Things opened a new 46,000 s/f store on February 17, the latest category leader among a set of dynamic stores at the Harmon Meadow mixed-use development here. An early morning ribbon cutting ceremony to honor the event took place on February 24th.

"The recent openings of Linens 'n Things, PetsMart & PetsHotel, Marshalls, HomeGoods, AC Moore, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club and the new restaurant elements have all contributed to the evolution of Harmon Meadow into the regions most desirable retail and entertainment destina tion," said Emanuel Stern, president and CO0 of Hartz Mountain Industries. "With Harmon Meadow we have redefined and exceeded expectations of what mixed-use developments are supposed to be and with all the changes we have created a market comparison for years to come."

Other amenities that have contributed to the success story of Harmon Meadow include the recent addition of the EZ-Ride Shuttle Service that ushers consumers and the work force alike to and from the Secaucus Transfer Station to marked destinations throughout the mixed-use community.

Additionally, Harmon Meadow now features a new road entrance off Route 3 West that will add to the already natural appeal of its accessibility to the regions major highways and infrastructure.

"Retailers have long been attracted to the Secaucus area for both its location and public appeal," said Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell. "The ongoing improvements which Hartz has brought to Harmon Meadow, is a contributing factor that Secaucus has evolved into one of the region's premier retail destinations and this continues to be true with the addition of Linens 'n Things."
