Hariri condemns the terrorist attack in Qaa.

NNA - Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri issued the following statement: The terrorist attack that targeted the village of Qaa in the Bekaa valley is a terrorist crime, organized in the caves of obscurity, and an episode in a hellish series that plans to extend the Syrian fire to the neighboring countries, and spread chaos in all societies. A few days ago, the Jordanian border with Syria witnessed a similar suicide attack, and a number of border guards were killed. Today the Lebanese people wake up to the news of an unprecedented suicide attack that provides further evidence of the necessity to mobilize all efforts to address the threats against Lebanon. We said and we reiterate today that Lebanon cannot bear the consequences of the ongoing war in Syria, and that any plan to combat terrorism starts from inside Lebanon and through the legitimate institutions, starting with the Lebanese army, that are exclusively concerned in planning, fortifying the borders and protecting the citizens. The unanimous condemnation of this terrorist crime is indisputable and a national duty through which we express our total solidarity with our people in the Qaa and the Bekaa, especially with the families of the martyrs who paid their lives to save their country and their region from a greater evil, and the families of the wounded to whom we wish a speedy recovery. We ask God Almighty to protect Lebanon and its people from all harm. ====================
