Hardness testers.

New generation hardness testers can rapidly and accurately determine the hardness value of a wide variety of materials.

Users can choose from universal models that can run any popular hardness scale test (Vickers, micro-Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell, superficial Rockwell, Knoop, HBT or HVT) or method-specific units. Portable, bench and floor-mounted testers are available. By integrating the latest designs, hardware and firmware, these testers are said to be fast, accurate and demonstrate some of the best gauge repeatability and reproducibility data in the industry, along with excellent accuracies and resolutions, according to the company. The FH series of hardness testers includes load cell based systems offering enhanced test results over dead weight loading units. Most models incorporate the latest full color touch screen displays and controls for easy user interfacing. (Tinius Olsen)
