Hardfacing wearable steel.

WEAR RESISTANCE LTD specialise in weld application of Tungsten or Chromium Carbide deposits, or a combination of both, to components which are subjected to excessive wear. Depending on the grade of hardfacing applied, the company says it can reduce wear dramatically on such items as rollers, fan blades, screw feeders, crushers, hammers, conveyors and many other wearing components used in a wide range of industries. The deposits are applied by electric arc, oxy-acetylene or automatic machine onto a carbon steel base as thin as 3mm. The thickness of the deposit is determined by the application, from 3mm to 12mm.
