Harbour swimmer shock..!

POLICE have decided not to press charges against a woman who went swimming in a water feature at one of Bahrain's most prestigious business addresses.

Security staff fished the Indian woman out of the water feature on the ground floor of the Bahrain Financial Harbour at around 7.30am.

A senior police official said she appeared to be drunk and was fully clothed when she shocked office staff on their way into work.

"She got on to the top of the water feature and jumped down, much like in a swimming pool," the official said on condition of anonymity. "BFH security alerted us and got the woman out safely. When we arrived on the scene, we had her escorted home."

He said he had no idea why she did it.

"We dealt with the situation in a humane way and let her go," added the official.

"We have no idea why she did what she did, but it was a little amusing while it lasted."
