Hampers gift for families.

PUPILS and teachers at a Coventry school have collected more than 50 hampers of food and drink for less well off families this Christmas.

The horde was collected by Cardinal Newman RC School, in Sandpits Lane, Keresley, and will be donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society, helping disadvantaged families.

Money donated at a carol concert at the school on Tuesday also went towards a pounds 250 total, collected by the school, and going to St Vincent de Paul Society.
