2 Cody Allen had planned on taking his kids to an indoor waterpark on Nov. 9, 2011, but an unexpected snow cancelled his plans. Instead, Allen went hunting and killed this 170-class Iowa buck on public land in Scott County, Iowa!

7 Fifteen-year-old Mason Jr Eckermann, of Caldwell, Kansas, brought this buck down on Dec. 6, 2011, during the Kansas rifle season.


8 Brian Schwab took this 178-J inch Central Alberta giant on Nov. 11, 2011, at 165 yards with his .270.
