Hairy Heads.

Do you have a green thumb? Get a "head" start on spring with this "hair raising" project.

3 empty eggshells (bottom halves)
Felt-tip markers
3 small jar lids
1 cup potting soil
1/8 cup grass seed

1. Use the markers to carefully draw funny ears, a nose, eyes, and a mouth on each eggshell.

2. Glue the empty eggshells (open side up) to the jar lids. Let dry.

3. Put 3 tablespoons of potting soil followed by a layer of grass seed in each eggshell. Cover the grass seed with another tablespoon of soil.

4. Place the eggshells in a windowsill and sprinkle lightly with water twice a week.
