Haden Young and old.

Haden Young's managing director David Beck and director of the building services contractor's Midlands and Southern Region, Alex Currie presented the outcome of the company's fourth National Customer Survey to more than 70 leading clients from the construction industry.

The dinner took place at Millennium Point, home to the Museum of Science and Discovery, which was particularly apt as not only did Haden Young design and install the building services for this landmark modern building, but the company's founders may well have lent a hand in building some of the museums exhibits nearly two centuries ago. At the beginning of the 19th century, Haden Young's founders George and James Haden were apprenticed to Matthew Boulton and James Watt, whose pioneering company was responsible for a number of the steam engines on display.
