 HYUNDAI'S PREFERRED OWNER PROGRAM HELPS WITH VALUABLE SERVICE
 FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Motor America is helping more than 500,000 of its most valuable customers with its Preferred Owner's Program by offering special discounts on maintenance three times a year.
 Beginning this spring, a set of coupons was mailed to Hyundai owners for discounts on service. The first wave, sent in the spring, included discounts on a variety of services such as cooling system maintenance, lube, oil and filters, tune-ups, front brake specials, automatic transmission service and 30,000 mile maintenance.
 The second wave was sent in July offering a free 21-point inspection and discounts on an air-conditioning inspection, 7,500- mile maintenance and vehicle security systems.
 The third wave will be sent out in November, just in time for the holidays. The dealers are now selecting from a list of more than 20 items those coupons to be offered in November.
 "This is an effective way to keep our consumers happy and show our commitment to quality service," said Frank Ferrara, director, parts for Hyundai Motor America. "Vehicle maintenance is an important part of the confidence equation for our customers."
 Hyundai Motor America has 500 dealers nationwide. Participation in this successful program keeps them in touch with Hyundai owners and gives them another opportunity to prove Hyundai stands behind its products.
