HYDRO-QUEBEC ANNOUNCES FURTHER CHANGES TO ITS UPPER MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

MONTREAL, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Within the framework of the reorganization in progress for the last year, Hydro-Quebec today announced further changes to its upper management structure.
A new Group, named Finance and Corporate Planning, has been created with the merger of the existing departments of the present finance and administration group and the present corporate planning branch.
This reorganization eliminates two positions of vice president and is in line with targeted rationalization objectives. The newly formed group will continue the work of organization and manpower review until May 1993, as outlined in the global reorganization plan for the utility.
Mr. Andre Delisle will be executive vice president of the newly formed finance and corporate planning group, effective March 29.
An economics and law graduate, Mr. Delisle has been vice president of corporate planning at Hydro-Quebec since 1988. He has also held various posts in finance and economics within the Quebec government. From 1982 to 1988 he was assistant deputy minister for fiscal policy in the Department of Finance; from 1980 to 1982 he was Assistant Deputy Minister with the Department of Financial Institutions and Cooperatives; and from 1977 to 1980 he was advisor to the ministerial standing committee on economic development.
